To those of you who do read my comics/ follow my blog, I apologise for the long hiatus. It’s my last year of high school and the work has taken its toll on me. If all goes well, once I’m done with school, I’ll have more time to make comics. Just one more year.
In the meantime, I know it isn’t much, but I’ll try posting every week as promised.
In other news, I’m also working to write up a comic. It’ll take a while, and I’m not certain whether it’ll even end up actually becoming a reality, I’m just putting that out there. It’s always been a dream of mine to focus on one specific storyline and draw it in comic form. (Most of the time, short on-off comics- like this one- take less time).
Thank you to those who’ve put up with my ridiculously long absence, and I promise there will be more things coming your way.
I’ve been looking forward to Christmas all year. Now that it’s gone, I have to wait another 365 more days. If you ask me, Christmas really should be longer. The cleaning up part though, I’m not too fond of.
No joke, these are the kinds of conversations I have with my sister. The other day, we were staying up really late, and Anastasia, out of the blue announces, “I feel like a toasted cheese sandwich.” So what does she do? She gets out the bread and cheese, and makes herself a freaking cheese sandwich. The conversation that follows is strange to say the least.
Whether it’s something I enjoy or despise… if I know I have to do something, I will pretend that it doesn’t exist. For a long period of time I had been feeling guilty about not posting a comic, and despite my love for digital art, due to the guilt, I would completely ignore my ipad all together. Instead, I spent a lot of time drawing with paper and pen (which I suppose was both good and bad).
Thankfully I’ve broken out of it, and now I’m back to drawing digitally.
